This residue can be easily removed with a cloth as soon as the unit has cooled off.
Because the appliance is a heat source that provides for air circulation in the room,
it is important that you do not use the appliance soon after decorating. The natural
air circulation causes moisture and uncured paint to be drawn in and this can
accumulate above the unit.
Always turn off the shut-off cock when the unit is not in use for long periods.
Broken or cracked glass must be replaced before the unit is returned to operation.
If you smell gas, close the main gas shut-off valve immediately, open windows and
avoid using fire or electrical contacts (switches). Always call a specialist to find any
gas leak.

Installation

The unit should be installed, connected, put into operation and checked by a
qualified installer, according to the latest applicable national and local codes and
regulations for closed units and according to the installation directions of t h e
manufacturer.
3.1.

Preparation

The total appliance is supplied in 1 box, except for the horizontal terminal and
accessories. These are supplied separately.
Examine the unit for transport damage and/or visible damage immediately upon
receipt and if there is any, notify your supplier. In the meantime do not begin the
installation.
In order to avoid damage to the unit during installation it is recommended that
you first remove the glass door, as well as all loose parts and accessories found
inside the unit.
To access the inside of the stove, first remove the loose top plate. Then remove
the cast iron front plate by just lifting and sliding it up. There are no bolts or any
other means of fixation.
The glass door is removed by loosening the 2 bolts of the upper front and
allowing the door to tilt downwards. The door can be removed by lifting it off its
lower hinges. Make sure that during this manipulation the glass door is well
supported so that the glass does not break.
3.2.

Installing of the appliance

The appliance must be installed against an outside wall in order to allow the
terminal to exit in the open air. Make sure that the wall thickness plus the
minimum clearance from the back of the appliance is not greater than the total
length of the terminal, otherwise installation will not be possible.
A minimum clearance of 10 cm must be allowed between non-combustible walls
and the back and both sides of the appliance. For combustible walls, respect a
minimum clearance of 20 cm.
The floor beneath and the close area around the appliance must be non-
combustible and properly protected and insulated against overheating.
The unit is best placed on a flat surface and adjusted to be made perfectly level.
