h) Connecting the flight battery
Attention important!
After turning on the transmitter and connecting the flight battery, the transmitter and the receiver must
align automatically (binding function). For this reason, you have to observe the chronological sequence
of the activation procedure. Otherwise the model will not react to the transmitter signals.
Do not operate any other 2.4 GHz remote control transmitter in the vicinity of the model during the
tuning process.
Slide the joystick for the pitch function (see ill. 1, pos. 8)
as well as the corresponding trim slider (see ill. 1, pos. 9)
to the bottom position.
Then turn on the transmitter with the help of the function
switch (see ill. 1, pos. 6). The LED bar diagram for the
operating voltage (see ill. 1, pos. 2) now blinks for approx.
10 seconds.
Now connect the flight battery within these 10 seconds to
the model with the reverse polarity protected connector.
As soon as the receiver/transmitter component (2) is
connected to the flight battery, the tuning process with the
transmitter is performed. During this time, the LED display
(3) on the left side of the receiver/control component also
blinks rapidly.
As soon as the receiver has attuned to the transmitter
signals, the swash plate servos (4) go into basic position.
In this position, the swash plate (5) must be aligned
completely horizontal. Now the LED in the receiver/control
component is lit continuously.
Important!
As the integrated gyro is also initialised at this time, you may not move or rotate the model helicopter
right after connecting the flight battery.
For better visibility, we removed the cabin hood from the model in ill. 10.
If the swash plate is not aligned perfectly horizontal after activation, refer to the chapter "Fine-tuning the model helicopter"
for more information.
