c) Inspecting the Ship's Propellers
Check the ship's propellers and their counter-nuts for tight fit and damage before any operation. Damaged ship's
propellers must be replaced before operation. If this is not observed, the ship's propellers may come loose or break
apart unintended in operation. There is a danger of further damage to your model. The model will also no longer be
controllable.
On the ship's propellers, also observe further information in the chapter „Replacing the ship's propellers".
d) Inserting Batteries in the Transmitter
Insert batteries in the transmitter. Observe the information and instructions in the remote control operating instructions.

9. Operating the Model

a) Inserting the Drive Battery
Lift off the canopy as shown in the chapter „Preparations for Commissioning". The switch at the boat deck (figure 5,
item 1) must be in the „OFF" position.
The drive battery (figure 5, item 2) is inserted in the boat body in a battery holder intended for this (figure 5, item 3)
and secured with a rubber band (figure 5, item 4). When connecting the battery, observe that no cables can get into
the ventilation rotor (figure 5, item 5).
b) Connecting the Drive Battery
Switch on the transmitter and set the trimming
of all control functions to the neutral position.
Observe the information and instructions in the
remote control operating instructions.
Place the boat on a suitable surface so that the
ship's propellers can move freely. Connect the
plug connections on the rechargeable battery
(figure 5, item 6) to the counter-piece of the
control electronics (figure 5, item 7).
