10. Charging the flight battery
Before the final assembly of the model, you should charge the flight battery (1). An appropriate plug-in battery charger
(2) is included in the delivery.
First conneect the battery with the charging cable of the
socket charging device. The polarisation-secure mini
Tamiya socket connector with a latch and hook (3) prevents
the battery from being connected to the charging device
the wrong way round.
Then connect the plug-in charger to a 230 V/50 Hz mains
socket.
Warning!
Use the mains adapter in dry rooms only and never tough it with wet hands.
To remove the mains adaptor from the mains socket, handle it first on the right and then left of the
housing. Never attempt to disconnect the mains adapter from the socket by pulling the cable.
For photo-technical reasons, the charging cable of the plug-in mains unit is illustrated in the wound-up
state. Before the first use, the cable retainer should be opened and the cable be unwound.
Important!
The charging process is completed after a maximum of 3 hours. After that, the rechargeable battery has
to be disconnected from the battery charger and the battery charger disconnected from the mains
socket. If the rechargeable battery is only partly discharged, the charging process must be stopped
earlier. For that purpose, check the temperature of the rechargeable battery manually in regular intervals.
Once the rechargeable battery is completely charged, the charging current is completely transformed
into heat. Thus, the temperature of the rechargeable battery increases noticeably.
Warning!
A fully charged battery or a switch*off of the charging current is not automatically identified.

12. Vérifier les fonctions du modèle
a) Vérification des fonctionnements de l´aileron
Mettez en service d'abord l'émetteur, puis le modèle. N´actionnez pas encore le bouton d´autorisation de la fonction
de moteur (voir fig. 5, pos. 4)!
Le levier de commande des fonctions d´aileron et de moteur (voir fig. 2, pos. 5) se trouve en position
médiane sur les photos suivantes. C´est la position dans laquelle vous piloterez ensuite le modèle pour
qu´il vole à la même hauteur.
Pour vérifier les braquages des gouvernes, il est toutefois plus sûr de laisser le levier de commande en
position inférieure (moteur éteint).
Position neutre:
Si les leviers de commande de la fonction de la gouverne et les interrupteurs de compensation correspondants sont
en position médiane, les gouvernes doivent être également en position médiane. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez modifier

la longueur de la tringle d´asservissement en tournant les chapes respectives et ajuster ainsi la gouverne au millimètre
près.
Fonction de l´aileron:
Si le levier de commande des fonctions d´aileron et de moteur (voir figure 2, pos. 5) est déplacé vers la gauche,
l´aileron gauche doit braquer vers le haut et l´aileron droit vers le bas.
