• Whenmowing under
trees
or beside walls,
operate the mower only with the blade-
brake-clutch engaged andpushit by hand
without engaging thetravel-clutch.

• As
the cutter blade
is
turning while the
engine
is
in operation, push the mower
without manipulating thetravel-clutch le-
ver.

Caution:
Push the mower slowly and carefully
paying attention totheposition ofyour
feet. Never run while pushing the
mower to avoidinjury.
Mowing without collecting grass can
be performed simply by removing the
collector.

Caution:
- Always installthe discharge cover in
position withoutfail.
- Operation without a collector ongrass
which is scattered withobstacles such
as pebbles, twigs, etc. is very danger-
ous. Such obstacles shouldberemoved
aheadof time.
- The operator should walk along the
right-hand sideofthe mower.
- Be sure to stop the engine before
opening the discharge cover.

MOWING ON A SLOPE
• When mowing on a slope, move the
mower laterally to the slope. Never
operate along the slope.
• Sufficient care should be taken when .
the mower is turned aroundon a slope.
• Operate the mower at sufficientlylow
speeds.
• Never use the mower tilted more than
30° in any direction.

• Faireparticulierement attentionlorsdes
changements de direction.
• Tondre

vitesse lente.
• Ne pas utiliserla machineenl'inclinant
de plus de 30° d'un cote ou de l'autre.
