MAINTENANCE AND CARE
MAINTENANCE GUIDES
Belt Lubrication
Step 1: Prioritize Safety:
Start by ensuring your treadmill is switched off and safely unplugged from the wall to prevent any
accidents during the maintenance process.
Step 2: Access the Deck:
You'll need access to the treadmill running deck, the smooth surface beneath the running belt. If the
belt is too tight to lift, you may need to loosen the rollers. To loosen the rollers, grab the Allen Key
provided with the product. Insert the Allen Key in the roller bolts located at the back of the product,
on each side. Loosen the roller bolts by COMPLETE anticlockwise turns and keep count of how many
were needed. Loosen each side with the same number of turns. Once you have some slack, you're
ready to lubricate the deck. Note: Keeping track of how many turns were done on the roller bolts is
crucial to re-adjust the treadmill after lubrication. If not done properly, you may need to adjust the
belt, which is a more complicated process.
Step 3: Apply the Lubricant
Locate your strike zone on the running mat, the area where your feet consistently impact the surface.
Lift the mat gently with one hand and apply an even spread of the recommended 5ml of silicone oil or
spray onto the center of the running deck.
Step 4: Secure the running belt
Carefully lower the treadmill's running belt back into place. If the belt had to be loosened, re-tighten
the roller bolts to ensure they are secure. Make sure to retighten the roller bolts in a clockwise fashion,
in the exact amount of turns that were done to loosen the walking belt. Note: Not completing the
same number of turns may unadjust the walking belt. This can damage the belt and necessitate a
lengthy adjustment process to put back into place.
