2.4 Battery change

If >bAt< appears in the lower display, the batteries are spent and must be replaced.
However, instrument function is still ensured for a certain amount of time. If >bAt< appears
in the upper display, the battery voltage is no longer sufficient for the instrument's operation
and the batteries are now completely drained. The batteries must be changed. To do this,
proceed as follows:
Place the instrument
with the display facing
downwards and remo-
ve the screws on the
housing.
Replace the top section. Note the 3
sealing rings in the lower section and
the housing seal in the upper section.

Turn the instrument
with the display
facing upwards.

Open the upper
section. Do not touch the circuit
Screw the instrument
back together.
Do not use too much
pressure!
Insert the batteries.
