1) The machine must be inspected by a specialist technician who checks its safety or for any damage or defects in the following
cases:
● before it is put into operation
● after modifi cations or repairs
● at regular intervals, as indicated in the «Routine maintenance and checks" table.
2) Every six months check that the safety devices are in good working conditions; the inspection must be made by authorized specialist
staff.
To ensure that the safety devices are properly operating , the machine must be overhauled by specialist staff or skilled workshop
every 5 years.
3) The person in responsable of the machine must make an annual check of its condition. During this checking, he must decide
whether the machine still complies with the technical safety regulations. After checking it has to apply on the machine a label of
checking made.
Periodic maintenance and checks (electric sweeper)
1 Check level of electrolyte in batteries
2 Check carbon brushes of drive motor
3 Check carbon brushes of brush and suction fan motors
4 Check that the main brush is not entangled with string, wire, etc.
5 Check the level of the hydraulic fl uid
6 Replace the hydraulic fl uid (with Agip Rotra ATF)
7 Check and clean panel fi lter
8 Replace panel fi lter
9 Check traces of side brush(es)
10 Check belt tension
Periodic maintenance and checks (petrol sweeper)
1 Check the engine oil level
2 Check the engine air fi lter
3 Cleaning of the motor air fi lter
4 Change the engine oil
5 Check the tension of the belts
6 Check the battery electrolyte level
7 Check the trace of the main and side brushes
8 Check the level of the hydraulic fl uid
9 Replace the hydraulic fl uid (with Agip Rotra ATF)
Check that the main brush does not have string, wire, etc. entangled

11 Check the dust fi lters
12 Replace the dust fi lters
1) Cleaning:
When cleaning and washing the machine, take care when using aggressive detergents, acids, etc.
Follow the instructions provided by the detergent producer, and wear protective clothing if appropriate (e.g. overalls, gloves, goggles, etc.
- see EEC directives on this subject).
2) Explosive atmosphere:
The machine is not constructed to work in environments where there is a risk that there might be explosive gases, dusts or vapours, and so
its use in an explosive atmosphere is FORBIDDEN.
3) Disposal of harmful substances:
Comply with the laws in force on waste disposal and treatment when disposing of the material collected, the machine fi lters and spend
material such as batteries, motor oil, etc.
