e) Placing Rechargeable Flight Batteries in the Model
Switch on your transmitter and make sure that the motor rotation speed
control stick (fig. 2, pos. 10) is in the bottom position (Motor off).
Place the model on its back and open the front rechargeable battery
compartment lid (1). Then connect the flight controller connector (which
is protected against polarity reversal) to the plug (2) on the rechargeable
battery. The motor initially emits two sounds, then 5 short signal tones.
Slide the rechargeable flight battery (3) into the battery bay. The thin side
with the connector cables attached (4) is inserted into the bay first.
Ensure that the rechargeable battery sits fully in the fuselage and that
the connector cables are not in the way.
Finally, slide on the lid of the battery compartment (1) and let the locking
mechanism click into place.
