Checking the sensitivity and the zero-point
1
Zero-point
1. Start the Dräger X-node app.
2. Press the "Calibrate zero-point" button in the "Calibration" menu
item.
3. Expose the sensor for zero calibration to an appropriate zero-
point gas (see app).
Sensitivity
1. Start the Dräger X-node app.

2. Press the "Span calibration" button in the "Calibration" menu item.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Apply the gas from the test gas cylinder (1) with the gas supply
adapter (2) to the sensor with a minimum of 0.5 L/min.
✓ The calibration is performed as soon as the sensor signal is stable
or the maximum calibration time has expired. The maximum
calibration time depends on the sensor type used (e.g. CO

Maintenance
The sensing head and the LoRa gateway do not require
maintenance. The service life of the used sensor depends on the
sensor type. When the sensor is taken out of the sensing head, the
measurement system switches into the power-save mode. Further
information about the sensor can be found in the respective sensor
data sheet.

Observe the charge status of the internal rechargeable battery. Carry
out a daily visual inspection to check the operational readiness. Have
specialists carry out an annual device inspection and sensor
calibration.
CAUTION
Health hazard
The dust filter in front of the sensor must not be contaminated. A
contaminated filter prolongs the response time of the sensor. This
affects the sensitivity.
► Replace the contaminated filter.
