MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Do not attempt to modify the product or
create accessories not recommended for
use with the product. Any such alteration
or modif cation is misuse and could result
in a hazardous condition leading to possible
serious personal injury.
Cover the blade with the blade protector
before
storing
the
transportation. Always remove the blade
protector before using the unit. If not
removed, the blade protector could become
a thrown object as the blade begins to turn.
Use only the manufacturer's replacement
line in the cutting head. Do not use any
other cutting attachment. Failure to do
so can cause serious injury. Use only the
manufacturer's replacement Tri-Arc blade.

After extending new cutter line, always
return the product to its normal operating
position before switching on.
After each use, clean with a soft dry cloth.
Wear heavy gloves while installing or
removing blades as they have sharp edges.
Check all nuts, bolts and screws at frequent
intervals for proper tightness to ensure the
product is in safe working condition. Any
part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by an authorised
service centre.
Always ensure that ventilation openings
are kept clear of debris.
When not in use, the product should be
stored in a cool dry place and locked up
out of the reach of children. Do not store
outdoors.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The product has an overload protection
device that is activated when overheating or
a current spike occurs, automatically shutting
down power within the product. To resume
operation, disconnect the product from the
power supply, wait for about 15 minutes, and
re-connect the product to the power supply.

Even with the intended use of the appliance,
there is other risk which cannot be prevented.

Contact with the blade could result in
serious personal injury.
Blade thrust may occur without warning
if the blade snags, stalls or binds. This
contact may cause the blade to stop for an
instant, and suddenly "thrust" the unit away
from the object that was hit. Both hands
must be used at all times to control this
product.
It has been reported that vibrations from
hand-held tools may contribute to a
condition called Raynaud's Syndrome in
certain individuals. Identify safety measures
to protect yourself based on an estimation
of exposure in the actual conditions of use,
taking account of all parts of the operating
cycle such as the times when the tool is
switched off and when it is running idle
in addition to the trigger time. Limit the
amount of exposure per day.
