The generator has been shipped
without engine oil and coolant.
Fill with oil and coolant before
starting the engine to avoid dam-
age.

STARTING THE ENGINE

NOTE:
9 Before starting the engine, do
not connect any electric de-
vices.

"OFF".

NOTE:
Cold weather starting:

If the ambient (surrounding) tem-
perature is below -5°C (23°F), keep
the main switch in the "GLOW
LAMP" position about 5 seconds or
more after the glow light turns off.
