The filter is a dry-type element.
Do not get oil on it, and do not
touch it except when cleaning.
1. Remove the air filter element.
2. Remove the dust and blow
compressed air from inside
while turning the element. Pres-
sure of compressed air must be
under 686 kPa (7 kg/cm
psi).

NOTE:
When the element is soiled with
carbon or oil, use an element
cleaning detergent.

3. Check the element. Replace if
damaged.
4. Reinstall the element.
