DRAIN THE FUEL

1. Remove the hose portion 1
and discharge the fuel from fuel
tank.

2. Remove the fuel filter cup and
discharge fuel.
3. After discharging the fuel, clean
the fuel element.

Before storing the engine for more
than a few months, remove any dirt
on the machine, and:
1. Drain the radiator coolant.
Open the cock at the bottom of
the radiator, and remove the
pressure cap to drain water

completely. Leave the cock
open. Write "No water" on a
piece of paper and attach it to
the pressure cap. Since water
may freeze when the tempera-
ture drops below 0°C (32°F), it
is very important that no water
is left in the machine.
