5. RELEASE SYSTEMS
LEASH QUICK RELEASE FEATURES
RELEASING THE LEASH QUICK RELEASE:
Pics 1 & 2: If you need to get totally free of the kite, release the leash quick release by grabbing the red/white handle
and pushing it away from you, and let go.

RECONNECTING THE LEASH QUICK RELEASE:
Pic 1: Put the stainless steel loop of the leash around the harness leash traveler.
Pic 2: Slide the pivoting arm through the stainless steel loop.
Pic 3: Pull the release handle up and fold the pivoting arm flat so that the release handle slides over the pivot arm.
Pic 4: Make sure the handle has clicked into place.
Note: Always make sure the handle is in the correct position.

CAUTION! If you are practicing spins, and you continually spin in one direction, the Control System could be rendered
ineffective by twisted lines. To avoid the potential of twisted lines you should always try to do the same number of spins
in both directions. In addition, you should always check the condition of your Leash system by pulling on your leash
attachment to make sure the line is not bound in any way. If you feel tension on the line you should go to the beach and
reset your lines to eliminate all twists.
