6.4.3. Languages
You can choose between French, Dutch, English or German.
6.4.4. Salt alert
This allows you to deactivate the salt alert yourself if you feel it is surplus to requirements. A dialogue box
will appear to follow the instruction. The deactivation of the alert will be logged in «System Info».
6.4.5. System Info
This provides the user with information about the water softener's settings :
- The maximum capacity
- The duration delta encoded
- The activation status of the salt alert
- The activation status of the service alert
- The remaining battery charge expressed in %
- The programmed regeneration time
- The programmed number of days between 2 regenerations.

7. COMMISSIONING

a. Pressurisation : Bypass with 3 valves: close valves 1, 2 and 3. Open the meter valve. Valve 2 remains closed. Open valve
1, then valve 3 (p 5, 3 c.1.). Integrated bypass: put the valve in bypass position. Open the water meter. Make sure that the
flexible tubes are watertight. Gradually open the bypass valve and check whether the system is watertight.
The water softener is now pressurised. The operating pressure is 2 to 6 bar. The adjustable pressure reducing valve has been
pre-set to 3 bar.
The water softener's optimum operating pressure ranges between 3 and 5 bar.
b. Fill the salt tank with salt tablets for water softeners.
c. Plug the transformer into the socket. Within a matter of seconds, the DURLEM logo will appear on the display.
d. The water softener will perform a first regeneration to get rid of any air and brine. The regeneration icon and phase 1 will
appear on the display. Next, it will switch to service mode and the volume or time will appear on the display
e. Do a hardness test to check the settings of the residual hardness.
f. The water softener is ready for use.
g. Commissioning to adjust the parameters in line with requirements and the adjustment of the residual hardness must be
performed by a qualified technician from the after-sales department.

8. WHICH SALT TO USE ?

The device has been set to regenerate by means of AXAL PRO salt tablets.
AXAL PRO tablets are made from an extremely pure salt and are the most cost-efficient. They dissolve in the salt tank
gradually and evenly, creating a transparent brine in the right regeneration concentration to ensure that your water softener
retains maximum effectiveness.
We would advise against using salt that has been sitting around opened. Only store your salt in a place that is clean and dry.
Make sure that the packaging is tightly sealed at all times.
The quality of the salt you use must meet the EN 973 standard.
