c.1. How the bypass works

The idea of the bypass is to allow the water softener to be turned off by closing the valve and closing the inlet to and outlet
of the water softener without disrupting the mains water supply.
A triangle on the red handle will tell you what position the valve is in :
OUT

c.2. Assembly

c.2.1. Bypass kit components
- Bypass valve (1)
- 2 x 60 cm M1''- F3/4'' stainless-steel flexible tubes (2)
- 2 flat ¾'' rubber gaskets (3)
- 2 clamps (4)
- 2 self-tapping screws (5)
c.2.2. Tools needed
- Combination wrench, 8 (use a long wrench if possible)

c.2.3. Assembly method
1. Connect the flexible tubes to the bypass valve and make the connection watertight with the help of Teflon or hemp.
2. Remove the red transport plugs from the water softener.
3. Position the bypass valve on the bypass blocks.
4. Clamp at the top.
Place the point of the clamp in the bypass block box. Screw in the self-tap-

screw. Tighten the self-tapping screws
(to be found in the salt tank)
The water softener can be fitted with a single-
