Calibration of temperature sensor
The calibration of the temperature sensor can be made with reference liquids at 0 °C and 100 °C
or with a Pt 100 temperature simulator.
The temperature simulator must be connected in 3-wire circuit.

Calibrate measuring cell with reference resistance
The
LMIT 08
measuring cell supplied.
If recalibration is necessary following a replacement of the transducer, proceed as follows:
•
measuring bore must be free (no fluid, no loop resistance)
•
press SEL key at the start of zero point compensation.
Fig. 8.40
Notes on the Pharma version:
To assure measurement precision within the ranges from 0 to 200 µS/cm, recalibration has to
be performed in combination with the used flow fittings.
Zero-point adjustment of the Pharma version:
•
Install flow armature into measuring cell (without loop resistance).
•
Perform zero point adjustment
Calibration of the measurement ranges 2 S/cm, 200 mS/cm, 20 mS/cm and 2 mS/cm can be
performed outside the armature with a conductivity simulator (art. no. 289190).
Calibration of the Pharma version of the measurement range of 200 µS/cm needs to be
carried out inside the flow armature:
•
Pass loop resistance 38.3 kΩ (art. no. 289191) through measurement hole
•
Install measuring cell with loop resistance into armature
•
Perform calibration
•
Disassemble measuring cell and remove loop resistance
