Setting the assembly factor

The assembly factor is a measurement unit that shows the influence the installation situation
exerts on the constant of the measuring cell.

8.5.2.1 Pharma version

Within the "Pharma" version, a tank factor of 1.007 has to be adjusted for the measurement
ranges 200 µS/cm, 2 mS/cm and 20 mS/cm in combination with the DN 40-100 flow fittings.
Factory settings of the Pharma version are 1.007.
8.5.3 Automatic TCα determination

In order to ensure exact determination of the TCα, it is necessary to heat the measured item
from the reference temperature to the working temperature or cool the measured item from
NOTE
the working temperature to the reference temperature. The temperature must change by at
least 5 °C in order to determine the TCα.
With the alternating display the automatic TCα determination can be started or stopped by using
the SEL key exactly at the desired temperatures.
The "running" message flashes while the temperature compensation is being determined. TCα
determination can be interrupted at any time using the SEL key. The maximum running time for
the TCα determination is 1 hour
