Pharma Version

The "Pharma" version of the
functions that are available in the base and CIP versions.
Versions available:
I
Compact instrument with integrated transducer for installation into piping system
II
Wall-mounted instrument with separate transducer for installation into piping
system
Special feature:
Compared to the standard version, this version has an optimized sensor system that
enhances the measurement precision in the lowest µS measuring ranges.
This instrument is therefore ideal for phase separation of WFI (water for injection)
applications. (Within a measurement range of 0 to 40 µS/cm = 0/4 to 20 mA, a precision
of ± 1 µS/cm and a dissolution of 0.125 µS/cm is obtained)

Principle of measurement

The
LMIT 08
the use of electrodes.
A toroidal coil, circuited as a voltage transformer, induces in a conducting loop formed by the
measured liquid, an alternating current directly proportional to the electrical conductivity of the
liquid.
A second toroidal coil, circuited as a precision current transformer in the conducting loop,
delivers a fraction of this alternating current as an input signal to a measurement amplifier
arranged downstream.

A temperature sensor continously takes the temperature of the liquid to measure. The measured
values compensate the temperature dependant conductivity changes of the device to be
measured (liquid).
All circuit elements are cyclicly monitored by the micro processor for getting highest security.
The used elements are tested under extreme conditions. Unwanted influences are eliminated by
consequent filtering at all inputs and outputs.
