6. Unit identification

The design and data of the units may change with
respect to the figures in this manual and in the user
and maintenance manual depending on the type of
device selected. The units may be correctly identified
by checking the technical plate, which contains all the
identification details and data for correct use. The tech-
nical plate is hot stamped on a plastic support, which
ensures the writing is retained for a long time even in
particularly heavy-duty environments. For any need or
information regarding the unit, it is crucial to know the
serial number. In the UL versions (with the exception of
the 115V units), a technical plate refers only to the UL
certified data and the other to highlight operation at
50Hz of the product at the indicated voltage.
INFORMATION
(*) The special models are marked with a Z in the
fourth last digit of the code. The next digits after the
Z lose their original meaning, representing the pro-
gressive number of special versions. Refer to the
attachments if present.

7. Installation

The air conditioners are designed exclusively for instal-
lation on electrical panels, specifically with wall-mount-
ed installation and operating in a vertical position.
WARNING
The units must be installed in accordance with the
national regulations in the region where they are
sold.
WARNING
The air conditioner CUVN/CUON is classified as
unit not accessible at the general public.
WARNING
Operations on the unit can only be performed by
specialised and authorised personnel.
WARNING
Unit handling must be performed by using lifting
devices with the insertion of eyebolts in the pre-
arranged holes.
WARNING
In case of a particularly humid environment, con-
densate may form on the compressor which can
leak from the holes on the base.
WARNING
Do not install electrical panels/electrical devices
under the air conditioner.
WARNING
Disconnect the cabinet power supply before per-
forming any intervention on it.
General indications before installation
Before application, make sure that:
• The installation location is not excessively dirty and/
or damp.
• The cabinet where you wish to apply the air condi-
tioner has protection rate IP54 or higher, is internally
clean and is fixed to the ground to prevent the over-
turning and the available voltage is the one required.
