Setting into Operation

1) After applying the 12 V supply voltage, the cam-
era is ready for operation. The LED "PL" (9) lights
up.
2) Adjust the distance on the lens. In case of a lens
with manual iris control, adjust the iris to optimum
picture reproduction (depth of focus and bright-
ness). If the picture is not sharp despite a correct-
ly adjusted distance, adjust the mechanical focus
setting for the lens. For this purpose release the
hexagon screw (11) with the hexagon socket
screw key. Bring the picture into focus by turning
the threaded ring (14). Then retighten the screw.

Camera Adjustments

8.1 The main menu

The camera can be adapted to the respective range
of application in many ways. All adjustments are
made by means of the keys (1 – 5) and the OSD
menu. For calling the OSD menu on the monitor,

press the middle key

The arrow in front of the first column indicates the
selected menu item. With the keys
another menu item is selected. If a menu item has
been selected, it can be readjusted with the keys
(2) and
(5). The character ">" behind a term indi-
cates that in this case a submenu allowing further
adjustments can be called by pressing the key
8.2 Line TITLE – insertion of a title
A title of up to 20 characters can be assigned to the
camera and inserted in one of the four corners on the
screen.
