To select the functions, use the keys
Adjust the maximum control range via the param-
eter "MAX". By moving to the right, the control range
will be increased, by moving to left, the control range
will be reduced.
The function DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) will
reduce the noise increasing at poor illumination and
high gain. When selected, it is switched on (= ON>)
and OFF with the key
To return to the main menu, select the function
"RETURN" and confirm with the key .
8.7 Line W/B SELECT – white balance
Different light sources, e. g. incandescent lamps, flu-
orescent lamps, or the sun, have light of different
colour (colour temperature). For obtaining a natural
colour representation, the camera can be balanced
accordingly. Via the menu item "W/B SELECT"
(W/B = white balance) five different adjustments can
be selected with the keys

1. "ATW>" – The white balance is continuously
made in a fully automatic way. However, for this a
correction value may be defined. For this pur-
pose press the key

To return to the main menu, select the function
"RETURN" and confirm with the key .
2. "AWB" – The white balance is made just once in a
semi-automatic way. For this purpose hold a white
sheet of paper in front of the camera in the envi-
ronment where the camera is operated and press
the key . Then the letters "AWB" will flash for ap-
prox. 4 s and the value is stored as a reference.
3. "IN DOOR" – The camera is adjusted to a fixed
value for indoors according to the colour tem-
perature range of artificial light.
