Persistent mode

Persistent mode allows a user station to attempt to re-establish a connection to the last known
target. When you enable persistent mode, the currently displayed target UID and connection type is
stored as the persistent mode settings. If there is no established connection when you enable
persistent mode, the settings of the next successful connection are stored.
NOTE: If persistent mode is enabled in a dual AMX switch configuration and the connection to a target server is
lost due to a switch failure, then the connection is re-established automatically through the redundant path.
