YOUR CHILD RESTRAINT RECLINES TO ENSURE
PROPER INSTALLATION INTO YOUR VEHICLE. THE
CHILD RESTRAINT MUST BE INSTALLED SO THAT ALL
OF ITS SURFACE AREA IS IN CONTACT WITH YOUR
VEHICLE SEAT.
Place the child restraint in the desired seating position
(see "Vehicle seating positions") and turn the front
recline adjust knob ❶ to recline the backrest UNTIL
THE BACKREST LIES FLUSH ON THE VEHICLE SEAT BACK ❷.
! WARNING: Remove the vehicle headrest and/or mesh
storage pouch if it inhibits the child restraint from lying
flush against the vehicle seat back ❸.
