Quick Copying

By using one of the DIRECT REC SELECT you can start recording automatically.
When the recording is done "Finished" will appear in the display and the unit will beep twice.
If you're trying to record a CD-R or CD-RW and get the message "Can't COPY" try changing to an analog input for the source (see page 72-73).

Put the source CD (the one you want to
record) into the 3 CD changer
Press CD 0 to open the tray and set the disc.

Put a CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD
Recorder tray.

R or CD-RW recording of one

÷ If the 3 CD changer is programmed to play in a special order the
CD-R function will record in that order.
÷ When the recording is done it will be finalized automatically. If you
don't want to auto-finalize press FINALIZE on the main unit to turn
off this function. The "FINALIZE" display will go out in the display.

÷ It's a good idea to choose the songs you want to record before
beginning the recording process.
M e m o
The CD in disc tray 1 is
recorded and the CD-R/CD-
RW finalized after recording. If
you've programmed a playlist
of tracks from CDs loaded in
trays 1 to 3, these tracks are
recorded, then the CD-R/CD-
RW is finalized.
A single track from the
chosen CD is recorded.
The first track from all three
CDs loaded are recorded.
Use this button to make a CD-R
or CD-RW recording of a whole
CD put the source CD 1. *
