3.2 INSTALLATION
The 8045 flow transmitter can be installed into pipes using our specially designed
fitting system S020.
The fitting must be installed into the pipe according to the installation specifications
within section 3.1.

Insert the sensor into the fitting ensuring the arrow on the side of the housing
indicates the flow direction, and:
Version with a PVDF sensor: ensuring the sensor is sitting correctly, making
sure that the lug
Version with a stainless steel sensor: ensuring the cable glands show the
downstream direction and the alignment of the electrodes is perpendicular to
the flow direction.
