B's Recorder GOLD5 BASIC
B's Recorder GOLD5 BASIC is a CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW writing software package with a multiplic-
ity of functions that allow you to make original data CDs, audio CDs, and to backup CD and DVDs in
their entirety. This software also allows you to write to DVD-RAM.
Producing discs is easy using the software wizard
Using the wizard which is displayed when the program is started will allow anyone, even those using
the program for the first time, to make a CD/DVD easily just by following the on screen instructions.
Production made easy by user friendly screens
Produce CDs and DVDs using an operations screen which will seem familiar as it is similar to Explorer
and operation procedures that have been designed to make immediate sense.
Producing original music CDs
Gather together tracks that you like from a range of formats (music CD, WAVE, MP3/TwinVQ) and
record them to produce your own original music CD. You can also make a CD-TEXT music CD which
will include the artist's name and track title.
Full encode/decode function
Includes a direct encode function from music CD to MP3/TwinVQ. B's Recorder GOLD5 BASIC also comes
with an ID3 tab editing function so MP3 file artists' names, track titles and album titles can be edited.
Making Autoplay CDs
The software "B's Player" is included in the standard package and can be used to play MP3 and
TwinVQ files. By using the AutoPlayCD Production function you can make a CD that will play automati-
cally when inserted into the CD drive.
Support for the music data base Gracenote
When backing up music CDs or carrying out ripping, you can connect to music databases on the
Internet and automatically download album names, track titles, artist names.
A direct cutting function compatible with analog sound
Includes the "Direct Cut Function" which allows analog sound such as LP records or microphone input
to be recorded directly to CD-R or hard disk.

CD-ROM. Production of auto run CD/DVDs which will automatically start up when they are placed in
