3.5 WORK

DANGER
Be very careful in following the instructions for the whole
operation.

3.5.1 ANCHOR

In order to protect the equipment's structure, each operating anchor
is equipped with a safety bolt (Pos. 1 Fig. 11) which, in the event
of stress on the anchor, exceeding the bolt's breaking load, gives
way, thereby removing the stress from the operating anchor under
strain (Fig. 11).
Bending and performing manoeuvres and changes of direction
are absolutely forbidden when the anchors are sunk into
the soil as such operations could result in damage to the
equipment.
3.5.2 USE OF TRACTORS EQUIPPED WITH CONTROLLED
STRESS ON THE HOIST
Start work, proceeding with the slower gears, gradually digging in
with the anchors until the desired working depth has been reached.
Depending on the composition of the soil and the power of the
tractor, set the operating speed, keeping in mind that the higher
the speed, the better the quality of the subsoiling and the results
achieved. The recommended working speed is 7,5-8,5 km/h.
3.5.3 USE OF TRACTORS WITHOUT CONTROLLED STRESS
ON THE HOIST
If the tractor in question does not have the controlled stress device
on the hoist, the working depth can be regulated using a special
pair of rear rollers and the depth wheel, supplied on request,
which bear the weight of the equipment. Working depth should be
reached gradually.
3.5.4 DEPTH WHEEL (OPTIONAL ARTIGLIO) (Fig. 12)
On demand, as well as optionally we may provide a pair of depth
wheels (Pos. 1 Fig. 12), serving at the working depth control
(setting) and at the support of the equipment.
The wheel adjustment is performed manually, by moving the bolt
(pos. 2 Fig. 12) according to the desired working depth.
3.5.5 REAR ROLLERS
On request, a pair of rollers to be mounted at the rear of the
equipment can be supplied. Their purpose is to bear the weight of
the machine and regulate the working depth, thereby guaranteeing
smooth levelling of the soil and an initial refining of the surface
clods.
HYDRAULIC ADJUSTMENT (ATTILA, ARTIGLIO, ARTIGLIO
MAGNUM)
The position of the pair of rear rollers is hydraulically regulated
by means of a pair of interconnected cylinders (pos. 1 Fig. 13) by
manually changing the position of the cylinders (2).
It is also possible to change the working angle between the rollers
themselves, in order to load or unload earth between the rollers by
means of the adjusting tie rod (Pos. 3 Fig. 13).
MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT (PINOCCHIO)
The working depth comes regulated moving the levers of long
detention manually pulling of posterior seams (pos. 4, Fig. 14). In
order to load or to unload earth between the seams, to modify the
angle of job of the same ones being changed the position of the bolts
of block (pos. 5, Fig. 14). Every position of the varied bolt of block
the angle of job of 5 degrees.
The distance between the rollers may be modified by changing the
position of the rear rollers (Pos. 6 Fig. 14).
All operations for the adjustment of the posterior rollers must be
performed when the rollers are propped on the ground, with the
purpose of avoiding the crushing or perforation of the operator's legs.
