Cross Over Mode
Cross over mode requires a thermal bypass valve
(included); Refer to Installation of Plumbing section
(Cross Over Mode Plumbing Diagram)
Thermal Bypass Valve:
Thermal bypass valve is installed between hot and
cold line on furthest fixture (ie. end of
domestic water supply).
The valve helps regulate flow from the hot water
line to the cold water line allowing for quicker
delivery of hot water.
No more than 1 thermal bypass valve should be
installed per water heater.
Refer to thermal bypass valve instructions for fur-
ther information.
(Recirculation using cross over mode may result in
combustion icon switching ON and OFF several times,
this is normal.)
