Twin Pipe PVC/CPVC Vent Installation

Installations must comply with local requirements and with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 for U.S.
installations or CSA B149.1 for Canadian installations. DO NOT use cellular core PVC, CPVC, or Radel based pipe materials
for the exhaust vent. Vents MUST be of solid core pipes ONLY.
Use only the materials listed in this section for vent, air intake pipe, and fittings (See vent and air piping materials table).
Failure to comply with this warning could result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
PVC venting cannot be used if the water heater is installed in a recirculation system and the thermostat setting is greater
than 150° F (65.5 °C).
