1. Basic safety information

Before first use, please read the
operating instruction carefully.
These provide important safety
information and information concerning
use and maintenance of the tool.
This precision boring tool is designed for
finishing bores in metallic materials. Speci-
fic information on the machining of indivi-
dual metallic materials is not the subject of
these operating instructions.
No other application is permitted and could
be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot
be held responsible for damage or injury
caused by improper use. A damaged tool
could endanger your safety! Decommission
the tool immediately and contact your sup-
plier. This tool complies with the prescribed
safety regulations. Repairs must be under-
taken only by trained personnel. Improper
repairs can represent a considerable risk

2. Application

Highspeed digital precision boring tools
are designed for machining holes from
Ø 0.4 – 34 mm (.016" – 1.34"). A compre-
hensive range of accessories is available for
the tools. The accessory
axial variability and the cutting edge posi-
tion is automatically defined. The precision
boring tool is available in 2 sizes, with a
Ø 40 mm (1.575") or Ø 50 mm (1.969")
body. For machine fitting, they feature a
Wohlhaupter MultiBore connection point
, parallel shank or HSK holder. They are

equipped with a digital display
balancing
, internal coolant feed

and an adjustment travel (radial stroke) of
1.2 mm (.047").
