1. Basic safety information

Before first use, please read the
operating instructions carefully.
These provide important safe-
ty information and informa-
tion concerning use and maintenance
of the tool.
A damaged tool could endanger your
safety! Decommission the tool immedia-
tely and contact your suppliers.
This tool complies with the prescribed
safety regulations. Repairs must be
undertaken only by trained personnel.
Improper repairs can represent a con-
siderable risk for the user. Warranty pro-
visions can be implemented only in the
event that original Wohlhaupter spare
and accessory parts are used.
Keep the Operating instructions for use
in a safe place for future use.

2. Operating

Clamping and releasing
To guarantee a proper function of the CNC
drill chucks please follow the below men-
tioned instructions:
Clamping or releasing only at
standstill of machine spindle or
outside the machine.

The CNC drill chuck
means of an Allen-T-wrench
the drill chuck actuating a bevel gear. Turn
the Allen-T-wrench counter clockwise to
open the drill chuck, clockwise to close it –
shown at the bore of the bevel pinion.
("+" means to close or clamp)

Open the jaw of the drill chuck wide
enough to insert the cutting tool

Fit cutting tool
to the stud into the CNC

so that the tool shank is fit
closely to the whole length of the clamping
jaws (Fig. 1).
3rd step
Turn the Allen-T-wrench
clamp the cutting tool using the torque
mentioned in the table on page 11 to
clamp the tool properly (Fig. 2).
