• Manual precision balancing via balancing
weights, see also "3.4 Balancing"
• Maximum permissible speed:
– Short projecting lengths reduce con-
centricity errors and imbalance. This
increases the service life of the spindle
and improves safety.
– The necessary mounting and clamping
screws must be checked for the correct
torque before commencing work.
– Suitable protective measures or ma-
chine housings must be available to
protect against ejected particles or a
broken cutting edge.
– Rotating tools are always a potential sa-
fety hazard due to the centrifugal ener-
gies involved. It is therefore essential to
take the safety aspects into account.
– The max. permissible residual imbalan-
ce of the machine manufacturer must
be observed (if necessary, complete
tools have to be balanced).
