9.4 OPERATION FAULTS

Fault detected: The central unit does not switch on.
Possible cause
•Power supply not connected
properly
•Unit has not been switched on.
•Wrong voltage.
•Broken connections inside.
• PCB faulty.
• Power interrupted.
Fault detected: The central unit turns off and stops working suddenly
Possible cause
• Power supply cable damaged.
• PCB damaged.
• Connections inside interrupted.
Fault detected: The foot pedal doesn't start the motor
Possible cause
• Micro Motor cable not connected
properly
• Footswitch cable is not connected
properly
•Male connector of the micro motor
damaged.
•Pins of the connector damaged
•Wrong voltage.
•Footswitch damaged.
Solution
Make sure the power supply is properly plugged into the electrical
outlet and the connector on the back of the unit.
Check the back of the unit to see that the On button has been
pressed.
Verify that the voltage matches the power supply. If it does, try to
switch the central unit off and then on again, or connect the device
to another working electrical outlet. If the unit does not turn on,
verify the integrity of the fuse in the unit.
Immediately discontinue use of the device and contact Satelec
after-sales-service.
Solution
After checking the correct connection to the electrical outlet and
the absence of liquid in the unit, try to power the central unit. If
the device does not turn on, immediately discontinue use of the
device and contact Satelec after-sales-service.
Solution
Check to see that the micro motor cable is securely plugged into
the connector on the front right of the central unit, disconnect and
reconnect.
Check that the footswitch cord is plugged into the connector on the
front left of the central unit, disconnect and reconnect.
Unplug the micro motor and make sure that the male connector is
not damaged, wet or damp.
Unplug the micro motor and the footswitch cable, make sure the
metal pins on the male connector are intact and not damaged and
have not broken off and/or remained stuck in the female connector
mounted on the unit.
Verify that the voltage matches the power supply. If it does, try to
switch the central unit off and then on again, or connect the device
to another electrical outlet.
Check the ability to start the micro motor from the central unit
keyboard, pressing the [Motor ON/OFF switch]. If so, contact
Satelec after-sales-service.
