OPERATION

1. Comply with all safety instructions and safety regulations.
2. Ensure that you have selected a safe location.
3. Plug the mains plug of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V ~
50 Hz).
4. Place the main switch on the rear of the appliance on "I"
5. The appliance is now in standby mode, only the ON/OFF button is active.
6. Press the ON/OFF button. A short signal tone will sound.
7. Caution: The following explanations apply for adjustment on the control
panel itself, and via the remote control unit. The button designation is iden-
tical in each case.
Heating capacity
8. You can select from two heating capacities:
ƒ "Low" level for low capacity
ƒ "High" level for high capacity
9. Note: It takes a few moments until the higher capacity is completely active.
10. Use the "Mode" button to select the desired capacity. The respective indi-
cator lamp shows the level at which the appliance is operating.
11. The appliance heats until the desired temperature is reached, then the
appliance switches off. The appliance will switch on again as soon as the
room temperature drops below the set temperature.
Timer
12. Via the Timer button "Timer" you can select the desired runtime of the
appliance. This is possible in the range 1 to 12 hours in increments of
60 minutes. Press the „Timer" button until the selected time is illuminated.
After this time elapses the appliance switches off automatically. If you do
not make a time setting, the appliance will run continuously.
Selecting the temperature
13. Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the remote control to select the desired
temperature in a range between 15 and 30°C.
14. The selected temperature is shown in the display.
15. The appliance shows the current room temperature, the set temperature will
be maintained automatically.
Switching off
16. To switch off the appliance, press the ON/OFF button first. Important note:
The appliance has an automatic switch-off with cooling mode. If the appliance
was running in heating mode, it takes about 60 seconds for the appliance to turn
