9.4. Clock

The time is set regularly using the radio reception signal. Manual setting is, howev-
er, possible.
9.4.1. Displaying the time
 When the device is switched on, press the CLOCK button.
When the device is switched off, the time is permanently shown on the display.
9.4.2. Setting the time manually/time synchronisation
 Press and hold the ON/OFF button to switch off the device.
 When the device is switched off, press and hold the CLOCK button until
CLOCK SET is shown on the display.
 The hour display then flashes. Press the / buttons to set the hour.
 Confirm with the OK button.
 The minute display flashes. Press the / buttons to set the minutes.
 Confirm with the OK button.
 SYNC appears. Use the / buttons to select whether the time is to be set au-
tomatically using the radio signal (ON) or whether the time set manually is still
to be used (OFF).

9.5. Alarm

9.5.1. Setting the alarm
 If you wish to be woken by the radio, first select a radio frequency (as described
in "9.8. Radio" on page 61)
 If you wish to be woken by CD playback, insert a CD.
 If you wish to be woken by playback from a USB memory stick, insert a USB stick
in the USB port.
The device must be switched off to set the alarm.
 When the device is switched off, press and hold the TIMER button until TIMER
SET is shown briefly on the display.
 Use the / buttons to set the hours.
 Then press OK to confirm the selection.
 Use the / buttons to set the minutes.
 Then press OK to confirm the selection.
 Select the type of alarm by pressing /. Wake by:
– FM: Radio operation
– DISC: CD mode
– USB: USB mode
 Then press OK to confirm the selection.
