TILT PROTECTION

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE THE FIRST TIME

1. Remove all packaging materials
and any transport safeguards.
Keep packaging materials away
from children.
2. Check whether all listed acces-
sory parts are present and intact.
3. Unscrew the adjustment nut on
the base foot and take it down.
4. Place the base on the axle. In this
regard, note that the feet on the
base must point downward (away
from the appliance).

THE IDEAL LOCATION

1. Maintain an adequate safety dis-
tance (at least 1 meter) to other
objects, such as furniture, cur-
tains, etc.
2. Only place the appliance in opera-
tion in a vertical position.
3. Ensure that air can flow in and out
unhindered - do not, under any cir-

there is no defect in the appliance!
The tilt protection switches the appli-
ance off immediately, as soon as the
appliance tilts to a position where safe
operation is in jeopardy.
5. Refit the adjustment nut and tigh-
ten it firmly.
6. Select the location for your appli-
ance, strictly comply with the ins-
tructions in the following chapter
in this regard.
7. When you use the appliance for
the first time, or if it has not been
operated for an extended period
of time, a slight odour can occur.
