• It is not permissible to cover the appliance with an insu-
lation cover or to pack it in any other manner.
• The appliance can be used with 230V, 50Hz and has a
maximum connected load of 1500 Watts.
• The plug should always be within reach after installation.
• The wall socket to which the appliance is connected
should be earthed.
• Do not place any objects in front of the appliance since
this may be damaged by heat (see fi gure 2).
• Never lay the mains cable near the hot air discharge
outlet.
• Ensure that for example heavily lined curtains or other
infl ammable materials are placed at least 1 meter away
from the appliance.
• The installer should install the appliance in accordance
with the applicable laws and regulations.
• Do not use the appliance in combination with other
control equipments such as a timer, thermal controller
or a programmed controller that automatically switches
on the equipment. This is because someone may have
covered the appliance or placed a combustible object
under or in front of the appliance, which could catch fi re.
• In case of faults, remove the plug from the walls socket
outlet and notify your installer.
• Wet clothing, towels, etc., should not be placed for
drying on or near the appliance; (see fi gure 2).
• When the appliance is switched to stand-by with the
remote, a minor current continues to pass through the
appliance, and the use of the on/off switch is therefore
recommended.
• The appliance should NOT be used in ambient tempera-
tures below 2ºC and higher than 40ºC.
• The appliance should NOT be used if the air humidity
exceeds 80%.
• The equipment should NOT be used at altitudes excee-
ding 2000 meters.
• Attention: The appliance weighs about 40 kg, and
should therefore not be shifted without the help of a
second person.

2.3 Extra protection

If the appliance is installed in a room where
young children or invalid persons are left unsu-
pervised, we recommend that you screen-off the
appliance and keep the remote control in a safe
place.

2.4 Extra warnings

1. The symbol on the bottom next to the hot air
outlet (see fi gure 3) indicates that the appli-
ance becomes extremely hot at that point, and
that if this outlet is covered, the appliance and/
or the environment may become overheated.
2. Attention! Touching hot parts may cause burn
injuries!
3. Do not use the appliance if the glass pane is
damaged; please contact the installer.
4. The user should not perform any work on the
equipment!

3. Packaging

The equipment may only be transported in the packaging
provided for the same. Transport damage may be caused if
the correct packaging is not used, which may lead to hazar-
dous situations.

4. Unpacking and recycling

On receipt, check to ensure that the packaging is unda-
maged. If the packaging is damaged, please contact your
supplier. Never use the appliance in a damaged condi-
tion!
Check the equipment for transport damage. If you fi nd
damage in any form whatsoever, contact your supplier
and do not use the appliance under any circumstances!
Preserve the packaging until the appliance has been
installed and tested for proper working.
The packing should be discarded in the regular manner.

5. Installation and connection

The appliance should be installed in conformity with the
applicable laws and regulations by a recognised specialist
dealer.
The equipment should be connected to an earthed wall
socket outlet.

6. Replacement of fuses

The power consumption (with both the heating elements
switched on) is around 1500 Watts. For this reason, the
decorative fi replace has two delay-action fuses, installed
behind the left decorative profi le.
