Before Initial Use

1. Remove any possible fi lms, stickers or transport protection from the device. Never
remove the rating plate or any possible warnings.
2. Insert the batteries into the remote control (see "Inserting / Changing Batteries in the
Remote Control").

Inserting / Changing Batteries in the Remote Control

Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in the remote control and on the
battery are clean, and clean them if necessary.
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control: press the locking
catch on the battery compartment cover and remove it.
2. Remove any used batteries and insert two new batteries (1.5 V; AAA type). Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).
3. Insert the battery compartment cover and fl ip it shut. You must hear and feel it engage.
Replace the batteries when the power of the remote control starts to wane.
