Slide the HTL in / out and store it several times
in road position, to verify that the set-up of the
tooth rack, mounting brackets, end stops and
platform buffers work ok for all possible posi-
tions of the platform, and for all possible posi-
tions of the vehicle suspension. Make sure that
the retraction system is not hindered by, or
interfering with any parts of the vehicle chassis.
•
For orders including option S268, fit the mechanical lock
to the sliding tubes [See Fig. 6.16].
•
For orders including option S417, fit the electric switch
(providing the signal that the platform is or is not in stow
position) [See Fig. 6.17]. Prepare the wiring to the dash-
board of the vehicle cabin according to the wiring dia-
grams in the annexes.
