Tilt the platform open to horizontal angle.

Continue to support the platform by means of a
forklift, hoist, gantry crane... so that you can
work in the action radius of the platform in all
safety.
•
Connect the tilt cylinders to the platform hands [See Fig.
6.2]. The piston rods can be moved with the help of the
regular electric controls; or manually [See Fig. 6.3] by

2. Unscrewing the flexible oil pipe besides it (in order
avoid vacuum pull forces)
3. And pushing / pulling the piston rod by hand

to check up on the correct procedures for ma-
nipulating the safety valves.

If the electric controls are being used to move
the cylinders, proceed with care. The cylinders
might contain air, and therefore react with un-
foreseen shocks.
•
Secure the pins of all articulation points firmly
by means of the locking bolts supplied with the
HTL, and pressurize the cylinders gently.
