Mounting the speed sensor

When the speed sensor is mounted on the electric bicycle, the speed can be displayed on the display unit or the assist mode can be displayed
accurately.
1) Mount the speed sensor and spoke magnet on the rear wheel so that the distance between the spoke
magnet and the mark position on the speed sensor is between 1 mm to 5 mm.
● If the distance between the spoke magnet and the mark position on the speed sensor is less than 1 mm or greater than 5 mm, or the
speed sensor is not mounted, the following errors will be indicated on the console and the electric bicycle will run in emergency mode.
– Display unit of the console: Speed Indication blinks "000".
Note
● In "emergency mode", control is automatically switched so that the speed sensor is not used. In emergency mode, when the rear derailleur
is in top gear, assist is performed up to 25 km/h. However, when the speed is switched to a lower gear, the maximum assist speed drops by
the amount of that gear ratio.
