Electrical safety

Electrical connections must conform to IEC 60245 (H 07
RN-F) with a cable cross-section of at least
⇒ 2.5 mm² for a maximum cable length of up to 10 m
Never use the machine with a power supply cable of over 10
m in length. Longer power supply cables will cause a drop in
voltage. The motor will not be able to provide its maximum
performance and the operation of the machine will be
impaired.
When laying the connecting attachments, be sure that they
do get crushed or bent, and that the plug-and-socket
connection does not get wet.
Do not use the cable for purposes for which it is not meant.
Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges. Do not
use the cable to pull the plug from the socket.
Regularly check the extension cables and replace them if
they are damaged.
Do not use any defective connection cables.
When working outdoors, only use extension cables especially
approved and appropriately labelled for outdoor use.
Do not set up any provisional electrical connections.
Never bypass protective devices or deactivate them.
The electrical connection or repairs to electrical parts of
the machine must be carried out by a certified electrician or
one of our customer service points. Local regulations –
especially regarding protective measures –
observed.
Repairs to other parts of the machine must be carried out
by the manufacturer or one of his customer service points.
Use only original spare parts, accessories and special
accessory parts. Accidents can arise for the user through
the use of other spare parts. The manufacturer is not
liable for any damage or injury resulting from such action.

6
Make sure that the middle brace slightly projects
(approx. 6 cm). To fix the braces tighten the machine
knob screw (M8x18).
7
Then, put the wheels (12) on the axle of the rear brace
(18) on both sides.
8
Secure the wheels (12) using the circlips.
9
Put on the hubcaps (13) on both sides.
10
Connect the middle brace (17) and the front leg (16)
using the connecting triangle (20) and the hexagon
screws (M8x40).
11
The stand is now assembled.
Assembling the log splitter on the stand
12
Place the log splitter on the ground and put the rear legs
(19) on the axle of the log splitter.
13
Together with the second person lift the firewood splitter
along with the rear legs (19).
14
Put the rear legs (19) in the dedicated openings of the
rear brace (18). Make also sure that the firewood splitter
safely rests on the front leg (16).
15
Put the hexagon screws (M8x20) through the holes in
the front leg (16) and the log splitter. Also tighten both
hexagon screws (M8x20).
16
On both sides, put the hexagon screw (M8x40) though
the hole in the rear legs (19) and tighten them tight.
17
Screw the machine knob screws (M8x18) in the rear
brace (18) on the left and right side.
(If the stand is not orthogonal, loosen the middle
machine knob screw (M8x18) of the rear brace (18),
align the stand and retighten the screw.)
18
Loosen the hexagon socket screws (M16x20) and
remove the carrying handle (5).
19
Secure the carrying handle (5) on the front leg (16)
using the delivered hexagon socket screws (M6x40).
20
Now, the log splitter is completely assembled on
its stand.
