6.1 TRANSPOSITION

Both manuals and the pedalboard can be transposed within a range of -6 / +5 semitones.
To set the transposition, while holding the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button, press one of the upper manual keys
from F#1 (-6 semitones) to F2 (+5 semitones). C2 corresponds to no transposition.
When the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button's led is on, this means that the manuals and pedals are transposed.
NB
Transposition is also applied to the notes received through the [MIDI PEDALS KEYB ONLY] connector, but not to the
notes received through the [MIDI IN] connector.

6.2 MIDI SETTINGS

TRANSMISSION MODES

As seen in par. 3.3, Legend / Legend Classic / Legend Live are equipped with two ports for transmitting MIDI
data on which messages are sent differently and depending on the selected operating mode. Four operating
modes of the MIDI transmission ports are provided:

MUTE: to play the Legend / Legend Classic / Legend Live and no other external connected expander or
instrument

EXPANDER: useful for playing an external sound generator (Expander) with the Legend / Legend Classic
/ Legend Live keyboard

SEQUENCER: useful for recording the songs played on the Legend / Legend Classic / Legend Live with an
external Sequencer

MASTER KEYBOARD: useful for controlling external devices with the keyboard and the controls of Legend
/ Legend Classic / Legend Live
The following table shows the MIDI messages transmitted on each MIDI port depending on whether you have
selected a Set, Preset, Cancel or the Layer mode:
