4. SWITCHING ON AND NORMAL FUNCTIONING

To switch on the instrument follow these simple rules:
1. Turn the [VOLUME] potentiometer to the left (closed).
2. When using headphones, do not wear them.
3. Switch on the instrument through the [POWER] switch on the rear panel.
4. Wait for the power-on sequence of the left side panel buttons' leds.
5. Once the last led of the Black Octave keys (Legend and Legend Classic), or of the [DRAWBARS SET B]
(Legend Live) on both manuals has switched on, the instrument is ready to be played.
6. Adjust the volume as needed and / or wear headphones if necessary.
After switching on, the instrument recalls the following settings:

In any case, it is possible to set the instrument so that, when switched on, the above controls are set with a
different configuration. To do so, after adjusting them to your liking, press [TRANSPOSE SELECT] and the F1
key of the upper manual: each time you start up, Legend / Legend Classic / Legend Live will start with this
configuration.
If you want to return to the standard startup shown above, press the E1 key of the upper manual while holding
down [TRANSPOSE SELECT].

4.1 WHAT ARE DRAWBARS AND HOW TO USE THEM

The electromechanic organ sound generation is based on 91 metal wheels with bumps (called tonewheels)
that revolve close to a magnet with a coil. The bumps of the wheels create a variation in the magnetic field,
thus generating a voltage and hence a signal which, controlled through the drawbars and amplified, becomes
sound.
Pipe organs generate sound by blowing compressed air inside a resonating tube, or pipe. Labial reeds
produce a pure sound (without harmonics), very similar to that of a flute, which is the type of sound generated
