7.4 SOFT-THRU

The SOFT THRU function allows to transmit the MIDI data received by
more precisely:
-
The [MIDI OUT / THRU] connector retransmits the input data received through the [MIDI IN1], [MIDI IN2 /
PEDALS] and [USB TO HOST] connectors.
-
The [USB TO HOST] connector retransmits data received through the [MIDI IN1] and [MIDI IN2 / PEDALS]
connectors.
This allows you to connect multiple MIDI devices in a chain. For example, you can play
MIDI keyboard connected to the [MIDI IN1] connector and at the same time record the performance (with a
dedicated application) on a computer connected to the [USB TO HOST] connector.
1.
Press the [ROTARY] and [DRIVE] buttons simultaneously until the display shows the message "thr".
2.
Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to select:

8.1 CALIBRATION OF THE EXPRESSION PEDAL

By connecting an expression pedal to the [EXP] connector, it may be useful to calibrate it if the pedal's
operating range is not complete. To calibrate the pedal, follow this procedure:
1.

Switch on the
and all LEDs will blink four times, after which the message "CAL" will appear for a few seconds.
2.
Place the pedal in its minimum position (fully raised). The display will show the value detected by the
instrument.
3.
While holding down the [STORE] button, press [VALUE -]. The LEDs of the [PEDALS], [PERCUSSION] and
[MODEL] buttons will light up as long as the button is pressed, together with three dots on the display, to
confirm that the new value has been saved.
4.
Place the pedal in its maximum position (fully lowered). The display will show the value detected by the
instrument.
5.
While holding down the [STORE] button, press [VALUE +]. The LEDs of the [PEDALS], [PERCUSSION] and
[MODEL] buttons will light up as long as the button is pressed to confirm that the new value has been
saved.
NB
If no LEDs or dots on the display flash when saving a new value, this means that the new value is outside the allowed
limits. If so, make sure that:
-
you have pressed [VALUE -] and the pedal is in its minimum position when saving a minimum value,
-
you have pressed [VALUE +] and the pedal is in its maximum position when saving a maximum value,
-
the pedal is undamaged and works properly.

8.2 BULK DUMP

Thanks to the BULK DUMP procedure, the user can transmit the contents of the instrument's internal memory
via MIDI, so that it can be saved to an external MIDI device (e.g. a computer with a MIDI data acquisition
application) and then reloaded on the
