2.2.5 Reading a label on demand via downlink

The product makes it possible to receive a request frame for reading a specific piece of data (downlink 0x05).
This request makes it possible to configure the product to look for a specific label during the next N rounds of carousels. Once found, the ASCII
value is returned in a dedicated frame (uplink 0x4A)
If after N scan the label has never been detected, a status bit will be raised (bit 4 of the Status byte).

2.2.6 Transmission of a daily Keep Alive frame

In event mode, the product might never send frames of data. Thus, to ensure the proper functioning of it a keep alive frame is transmitted regu-
larly according to the following diagram:

If the product has at least one configured periodic data, there is no transmission of sign-of-life frames.
The settings associated with this mode of operation are:
The setting of the period of transmission of the Keep Alive frame (register 300).

2.2.7 Auto-detection of baudrate

The product must allow detection of the baudrate used by the electricity meter.
(1) Starting the product (activation via the magnet)
(2) Waiting for the end of the join procedure
(3) Attempt to read the serial link successively at 1200, 9600, 2400, 4800, and 19200 bauds.
(4) If reading fails, the red LED stays on continuously, and a new attempt is made every 10 seconds.
(5) If correct data is found, baudrate is stored, and LED switches off
