1.4.2 Power supply

The LoRaWAN TIC has the great advantage of being able to provide its own power via the CIS or RS232 link, i.e. without using an internal
battery or an external power supply. It has an internal capacity to recover energy, the amount of recoverable energy (harvesting) depends on the
type of electricity meter and the configuration defined by the user.
Indeed, if the product is too often asked to scan labels and / or send data, it will not have time to collect enough energy.
The table below shows positively tested configurations with 2 types of counters:

IMPORTANT: The scan mode continues (register 320 = 0) is not possible without recourse to an external power supply or with the Linky supply
It is also important to note that when connecting to the meter an initial charging-time is required before the product becomes functional. This
time depends on the type of meter. To avoid this, the product has a USB connector that allows you to charge the product in seconds and an
external power input on its terminal block so you can use the product instantly without any time constraint waiting for the product to charge.
