PYTHAGORAS FUNCTION 1 (2 points)
Height measurement (2 points)
Press button (16) to access the pythagoras function 1. Aim the laser at
the upper target point and press the measuring button (15). Aim at
the second target point with the laser horizontal and press the
measuring button (15) once again. The instrument will now automatically
calculate and display the height of the object.
PYTHAGORAS FUNCTION 2
Indirect height measurement (3 points)
Press button (16) twice to start the pythagoras function 2. Aim the laser
at the upper target point and press the measuring button (15). Aim at the
second target point with the laser horizontal and press the measuring
button (15) once again. Aim the laser at the lower target point and
press the measuring button (15) once again. The instrument will now
automatically calculate and display the indirect height.
This method should only be used when all the target points are vertically
or horizontally in the same plane.
